In recent months, certain asbestos plaintiffs law firms have been preventing defendants in mesothelioma cases from obtaining the plaintiff’s pathology materials by forcing them to execute a stipulation that would prevent use of pathology and medical information in basic scientific research regarding the diagnosis and etiology of mesothelioma.
