Biomechanical Analysis of Head Injuries from Vehicle Accidents and Falling Objects is a one-hour course is designed to help participants understand the mechanisms of brain injury and the injury consistency associated with different incident scenarios, such as vehicle accidents, fall incidents, and falling objects. The course provides some familiarity with human anatomy and basic biomechanical engineering principles. It also examines a variety of examples in which claimed brain injuries are analyzed in light of the incidents that reportedly caused them.
